Relieving The Pain With Non-Invasive Hemorrhoids Treatment

If you have ever experienced hemorrhoids it can be a very painful experience. The painful stinging, burning, itching and even bleeding can cause much frustration and can prevent normal activity. The condition known as hemorrhoids is when the veins of the anus become inflamed and irritated because of a variety of factors. The cause of hemorrhoids is usually from over exertion when having a bowel movement and other conditions such as diarrhea, constipation and even pregnancy. There are also varying degrees of severity of hemorrhoids and prompt treatment of this condition is recommended to prevent it from getting worse.

There are a variety of methods of treating hemorrhoids effectively without invasive surgery. The main goal of hemorrhoids treatment is to alleviate the pain. One of the first non invasive treatments is change in diet and use of topical creams and ointments. By eating foods high in fiber and drinking lots of water a person can loosen their bowels resulting in less constipation and over-exertion during bowel movements. Also, using hemorrhoid creams or ointments on the affected area can offer relief. An additional natural treatment is bathing the anal area by sitting in a tub of warm water two or three times a day.

For more severe cases of hemorrhoids there are additional hemorrhoid treatments that are still non-invasive, but do require some healing time. There is the procedure of injecting medicine into a hemorrhoid to make it smaller. Also, liquid nitrogen is also used to remove hemorrhoids in a method called freezing. There is even a technique called rubber banding where the affected hemorrhoid is tightly wound with a rubber band eventually causing the hemorrhoid to fall off.

Ultimately, there are a variety of non-invasive options to treat hemorrhoids.
